Bike Race / Facebook Integration on Kindle Fire
I was playing the popular Bike Race application on my Kindle Fire (Android). There are some achievements that require Facebook integration in order to unlock certain bikes and courses. Every time I tried to connect to Facebook, I got the error message:
Bike Race is misconfigured for Facebook login
I finally figured out how to fix this. Uninstall the Facebook app from the mobile device. You don't lose anything since all Facebook data is stored in the cloud on Facebook's servers. Then go into bike race and select one of the options that requires the Facebook integration. Now it will try to log in to Facebook directly without using the "app". When I did this, it worked for the first time.
I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to re-install the Facebook app on the device, since I don't really use it all that much.
