Lucky Break

Below is the massive and jagged tree limb that fortunately only grazed my head and left arm as it plunged 20 feet after we extracted it from a tree on August 3, 2009.

Semantic Wars

Semantic Wars is a new twist on the popular and awesome Age Of War flash game, which inexplicably incorporates a Hangman element. This reminds me a bit of our handheld electronic Merriam-Webster dictionary that for no good reason had a built in MP3 player.

Anyhow, the game was not too difficult to beat on our first attempt, as seen above.

One of these days, we need to organize a single post listing all of the Flash games that we have "boxed". This is an old term that harkens back to college. We found an NES system that one of our friends was no longer using, plus about 30 games. Every time we completely finished one of the games, we would place it into a box.

Milestones

Here's the web 2.0 version of the odometer flipping over after 10,000 miles.

The photo below is my account summary on the sixtyone, moments before I became the 732nd person to reach 50,000 rep.

Ignore Typos

I remember a few months ago, when I started seeing the "Sent from my i-phone" message at the bottom of e-mails. This statement had a wonderful sub-text that typically gave you a little bit of insight into the person sending the e-mail.

Even more amusing was when I recently started to see this at the bottom of e-mails:

I leave it to the reader to determine what traits they can infer about the person sending this.
